For many years, Indiana was the center of the automobile industry. Luxurious automobiles made in Indiana included the well-known Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg and Stutz. At one time there were more than 200 automobile manufacturers in Indiana – more than any other state! Moreover, the first electric hybrid and fully electric automobiles, the first gas pumps, and the largest testing grounds for automobiles – now famously known as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway – were all born in Indiana! Given Indiana’s deep history and unparalleled passion for automobiles, Cruise Indy was a natural choice for a unique fundraiser.
This event allows collectors to show their vehicle in a festive setting complete with music, food, silent auction and entertainment, and an opportunity to enjoy a car cruise (participants receive a collectors medallion), while raising money to benefit a worthy charity or charities.
You only need to register your vehicle if you want it judged. Otherwise just come to the car show and we’ll get your car parked in the “show only” zone.
The cruise you can partake in anytime from 8am – 11am and it will begin at the Cars and Coffee location, which is: Meridian Mark 1, 11611 N. Meridian, Carmel, IN, 46032. If your car is registered to be judged, you will need to do it early, so that your car is parked in the “judging” zone at the Indiana Spine Group (ISG) parking lot. Give yourself ample time to get your car on the cruise, parked and registered at ISG before 10am.
Absolutely not. If you just want to be a part of the car show of Cruise Indy, just show up that day and if you want your car judged, you will be parking in the “judging” zone and if not, you’ll be parked in the “show only” zone.
$20/vehicle prior to August 24th at midnight and $25/vehicle on the day of the event.
You think your vehicle is the best ever and you are supporting Folds of Honor.
Of course! We are a cool car show and all who register to have their car judged will receive a Cruise Indy hat or T-shirt and dash plaque.
